Matt Adams

After earning his degree in computer science at Otago, Matt became a patent attorney and is a partner of AJ Park, the largest law firm specialising in intellectual property in New Zealand. Matt writes: "As a patent attorney, I get to advise IT corporations, start-up ventures and individuals throughout New Zealand and offshore about patent protection, patent registration and patent licensing for their products. I have some awesome clients including Microsoft Corporation, NCR, Compudigm International Limited, Auckland UniServices and Industrial Research Limited. I have just finished a project where I advised the US government on whether or not to implement a Patent Law Treaty adopted in Switzerland."
