The future of AI:

• Wiki for Otago's AI and Society discussion group. (You're welcome to participate, and/or comment on the wiki!)
• Humans need not apply: a short video about the prospect of robots creating mass unemployment, by CGB Gray. N.B. this is an opinion piece! It's to provoke thought and discussion.
• An open letter from AI researchers calling for a realignment of the field of AI towards research on safe and beneficial applications. The letter links to a list of research priorities for robust and beneficial AI. This is an initiative from the Future of Life Institute, which works to mitigate existential risks facing humanity, and currently focusses on potential risks relating to AI technologies.
