Bob Parslow Visiting lecturer in Computer Science, formerly Senior Lecturer at Brunel University. Title: Imagine In 1981, he was intrigued to discover that all his final year graphics students were ³3-D Blind², which accounted for their poor performance in 3-D. His subsequent research revealed that this condition was endemic. He will illustrate the phenomenon and will give some examples of the sometimes tragic results of faulty perception. In this totally interactive seminar, he will demonstrate the novel techniques that he and Geoff Wyvill are using to improve the visual power of the students.
