Title:  Effective Programming

This year, we introduced a new course in programming as part of the major subject requirement for computer science.

This course has no lectures, no tutorials and no examination. it has provoked more questions at student repšs meetings than the rest of computing courses put together. It has created fans and enemies. It seems to have left no-one neutral.

Bob and Geoff will try to share their experience of running an effective programming course.
