Since 2005 the Department has been involved in an ambitious project in the Sultanate of Oman. Five Colleges of Education in Oman are being converted to Colleges of Applied Science. Our role, in Computer and Information Science, is to provide suitable courses in Information Technology. The project is well under way and this seminar is a short progress report, including details of my recent visit to Oman.
