I joined the department in November 1984, at which time I was the only programmer, technician, and systems administrator - and I was also the assistant secretary. Now I am mostly a full-time systems administrator, but I am also the Oracle DBA for the department, and I tutor some practical Oracle sessions. I have a BBS from Massey, and have completed the Computer Science undergraduate course at Otago University. I have completed my Restricted "A" Electricians Ticket at Otago Polytechnic, and have studied practical micro-computer hardware courses, also at Otago Polytechnic.
