I'm currently doing a postdoc at the DGP (Canada), after finishing
a PhD on shape modelling at the Graphics & Vision Lab (New
Zealand). My main motivation in computer graphics is to model and
animate organic things. In the last couple of years, I've been playing
with combinations of matrices raised to powers of scalar functions (Sweepers and Swirling-Sweepers).
Having realized that clay behaves essentially like a fluid and that
most living organism are mostly made of water, I am currently taking
an interest in fluid dynamics.
Prior to this, I worked on implicit surfaces at iMAGIS
(France). You can check out my other website.
And before that, I did an internship on surface reconstruction of
statues from the Louvre.
Also, once in a while, I do some commissioned artwork, when I got
spare time (not as often as I'd like :) ). See a few samples of my creations.
