I started work as a Technician with the Computer Science Department back in February 1990. My job within the department primarily involves installing and maintaining most types of computing equipment. The computing platforms that I generally deal with are Apple Macs, IBM compatible PC's (running Windows or Linux OS), and various UNIX workstations from different vendors. I am also involved with the network side of things. My interests and hobbies include electronic design and construction, mainly audio related but also electro-mechanical. I like to get involved in automotive projects where I can mix electronics with mechanical, for example, in engine management control.
