I did first year Computer Science back in the 1989 (when it was COSC121 and COSC122). When I returned in 1999 to continue my studies things had changed a lot, myself included. I completed my BSc. halfway through the year 2000 and then occupied myself with some interest papers before joining the department as a Teaching Fellow in December of the same year.

I enjoy programming in a number of different languages . I also get great satisfaction watching students acquiring new skills and learn different ways of thinking as they progress through the papers we offer.

Outside of work, I enjoy exercising as regularly as possible, worshipping at a local Baptist Church, and spending time with my family. In addition to this I attend a Bible School part-time, which is run by two missionaries. I have three awesome boys and one lovely wife. Scott is seventeen years old, Daniel is seven years old, Nathan is nearly six, and Maureen won't say how old she is. Our daughter Laura liked the idea of heaven so much that she managed to beat us all there.
