My research interests are in the neurobiologically inspired computing and dynamics of biological and artificial neural networks. Specific topics of interest include learning rules, spiking neural networks, classification and prediction by means of neural networks and computational neurogenetic modelling (a new area investigating the dynamic influence of internal gene regulatory networks upon neural dynamics). I am also interested in Cognitive Science, Cognitive Neuroscienceand applications of Computational Intelligence in Bioinformatics.
Please look on my personal web site for more details on my research, publications, teaching, CV, etc.
