I have been with the Computer Science department since 1997, and am primarily responsible for the 100 level laboratories and students. The great thing about teaching computing is that the field is changing constantly. I have enjoyed being part of the 100 level move to the Java programming language, and the emergence of the web development course. More recently, with the encouragement of my youngest daughter, I have become enthusiastic about introducing programming to primary school children using Lego robots.

When I'm not at work I enjoy photography, playing my viola and supporting my family with their various endeavours.
