I obtained my PhD degree in Computer Science from The University of Adelaide in Australia in 2008. Before my PhD study, I received my Bachelor degree in Computer Science in 2002 and Master degree in 2004 from Shandong Normal (Teachers) University in China, and then worked as a researcher in Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST) in 2005. After my PhD study, I worked as postdoctoral researcher at Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden before my son was born in 2009.

My research interests include resource optimization and performance evaluation in computer networking and computer architecture (optical networks, interconnection networks, green computing, cloud computing etc). I enjoy the process for mathematical modeling of various research problems by using graph theory, optimization, probability and statistics and etc. It is especially exciting during research when relationships can be discovered between theory and experiment.

For more information, please see my research pages.
