Computer Vision and Graphics

Semester 1

This course examines a range of topics in the related fields of image processing, computer vision, and computer graphics. These three fields all relate to images, and the processing and construction of images in computer programs.

The topics covered will change from year to year, and will cover a mix of vision, graphics, and image processing. Possible topics include animation, motion tracking, image mosaicing, 3D reconstruction, content-based image retrieval, and procedural modelling. Examples will be drawn from the recent literature, current research activities in the department, and practical applications.
