Marco Attene and Michela Mortara (Dec 2000 - Mar 2001) PhD studentsfrom the Istituto per la Matematica Applicata del C.N.R. in Genova, Italy.Marco worked on a method for a "mappingindependent polygonization of parametric surfaces". Michela investigated the problem of defining a new graph-like structure forshape description purposes.

Jens Willems (arr. September 2000) U. of Twente, the Netherlands. Project: developing a real-time head- and eye-tracking system for Fish-Tank Virtual Reality purposes. Jens visited the lab again in early 2005.
