Excursion

The main conference excursion will be a cruise on the m.v. Monarch through the famous Otago Harbour to the albatross colony at Taiaroa Head. Although the harbour is a large expanse of water, the shelter provided by the Otago peninsula provides for a relatively smooth trip
The Monarch departs at 8.45am and will return at 1.15pm.
We shall dock at Taiaroa Head for about an hour where there is an excellent
visitor and information centre.
If you wish to join this excursion ($70) it is essential
that you indicate your intention on the registation form.
There are numerous other attractions available in Dunedin
and the locality. Some may be found here. One of
the most beautiful tours (that participants could go on to after leaving
the Monarch) is the Taieri Gorge Railway.
