The project is one focus for a group discussing the topic of AI, ethics and society more generally: the AI and Society discussion group. This is an interdisciplinary group based at Otago, that meets regularly to discuss social, ethical, political and economic issues relating to AI. The group's wiki page contains many resources and links on the general topic of AI and society.
