  Presenter Instructions

Full and Short Papers

Aim to prepare a talk lasting about 15-17 minutes. All full paper and sketch (short paper) sessions are 90 minutes for four presentations. You have, therefore 22.5 minutes including introduction and questions. Session chairs will keep speakers strictly to time, so please rehearse carefully so you do not run out.

There will be two presentation rooms. They are both equipped with:

  • 2 computers (Pentium IV running Windows and Macintosh G4 or G5), both with CD/DVD capability. We can provide a laptop running Linux on request.
  • Data projector - 1024x768 pixels
  • Active network port
  • VCR
  • Audio tape deck
  • Whiteboard
  • slide projector and overhead projector. Although we assume that the slides and OHP will be wanted only for emergency backup.

A rehearsal room will be available and we recommend that you check your A/V before your presentation. Details of booking the rehearsal space will be available at registration.
