My current research focusses on the interface between language, vision and action. We can use language to talk about what we see and do in the world: I am interested in the neural mechanisms that allow this to happen.

Most of the students in my lab work in the field of neural networks, developing computational models of cognitive processes informed by experimental work in psychology and neuroscience. If you're interested in working in my lab, there's more information on my prospective students page.
