Openings for PhD Students

I am constantly looking for self-motivated PhD students. Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
  • A master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Excellent academic transcripts (A in average or better)
  • Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience in research demonstrated by publications in the known venues.

If you believe that you meet the above requirements and would like to pursue your PhD degree in our group, please send me an email including a detailed CV, a summary of your previous research experience, the abstract of your master thesis, one or two representative published papers, and everything that you believe will demonstrate your research abilities and help your application. PhD Scholarship/Admission

The University of Otago is New Zealand's top-ranked university for research quality. Otago's PhD scholarships are open to qualified students from any country, and cover both course fees and living expenses. To be considered for admission to the Computer Science department's PhD programme, applicants must have at least a four-year undergraduate degree. Applicants must also have a research project worth at least 25% of a full-time load in their final year.
